Make sure the vitamin includes folate (at least 400 mcg daily required) and Iron.< br />Menstruating women or patients with anemia should take a Multivitamin with supplemental iron.

I was sleeved 6 weeks ago.

Breakfast: two BP meds, Vitamin D

Lunch: PPI and half Multivitamin

Dinner: two BP meds and half multivitamin

I asked my doctor about blood work and he mentioned it will be around 3 months. I think at my next visit I will inquire about that but I feel fine. Also, at 2 months out they prescribe the Caltrate.

Don't worry. We all take a TON. The multi-Vitamins are here to stay. After 6 months, my surgeon allows me to stop taking some of them (ex. Actigall.) I currently take 9 pills a day, and I'm just shy of 5 months post-op. The price is a little outrageous, but I guess I can save a little money by skipping junk/ fast food. :)

Vitamins galore!

I am 1 month away from my surgery, and my list looks like this:

Celebrate Multi chewable (2)

Celebrate Calcium Plus 500 (3)

B12 sublingual (1)

Biotin sublingual (1)

Unrelated Med (3)

Not too bad, I guess...

I have been using Celebrate Vitamins as they offer combinations to cut down on having to take so many individual ones. Some are chewable, some are Gummy type and others are sublingual, your choice. So far they have worked out for my schedule. I get mine thru Amazon prime but you can order through their website also.

My nutritionist said children's gummies, my surgeon once gave me the same extensive list as bypass, and the next visit said nothing - just eat right. So I researched best practices (American Bariatric Society I think) and take 1 multi, 1 Calcium a day, B12 1x per week, Probiotics if I feel constipated. I will adjust according to bloodwork results, and keep reading the literature.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
