Losing Slow At Very Beginning?

Hi, i fear I am going to be a slow loser. Here I am 11 days post op, and i've barely lost anything. its hard to watch all the posts of people saying, "oh hey, I lost 15 lbs at my 1 week post op appt." Not me -- 2 lbs. Sigh. I was wondering if you all had slow weight loss from the very beginning?

Count me in the slightly disappointed category. Surgery 12/21 and I'm only down 20 lbs....

I had surgery 8 months ago and im only down 53 pounds since surgery 67 pounds total including preop. Im a slow looser but at least im a looser

Do body measurements, I've only lost 11kg in two months but I've lost 12cm from my hips!!! I'm not discouraged anymore :-))))))

39lbs in 17 weeks still trying to be optimistic. Some days it is hard! Most people sleeved around the time I was are 60-70lbs down

I'm on day 8 and haven't lost anything remarkable either.

I was sleeved 1/23 and am down 4lbs from surgery day. Hoping to lose a good amount in my second week but I get so nervous that I will never get to my goal weight. But I do want to say that to everyone who is disappointed about losing 20 or more in 2 months or so, think of it this way, 10lbs of weight loss in a month is awesome in my book. You may have lost that prior to vsg but you probably wouldn't have continued losing that. You would have gained or not lost sometimes. With our sleeves, at least we will continue to lose. It may take longer than others but I have faith we will all get there. ;)

I was sleeved 11/14. Just hit 31 lbs. slow loser. Still trying to be optimistic myself. Have not been to compliant with Protein or Water. Today I was terrible. Oops

Water is the hardest thing for me. Just can't seem to get enough down...

Water is hard for me too. Get about 30-40 oz. a day

That's about my average too.....

I still struggle with water and im 8 months out.

Sleeved on 11/26 and down 25lbs. I had a 3 week stall at only 20lbs lost. I keep telling myself at least I'm losing but sometimes it's difficult not to get frustrated and disappointed. I work out 5-6 days a week and get more than enough Water so maybe I should adjust my calorie intake or up my Protein. For now I'm just continuing on my journey and hoping the numbers on the scale keep getting smaller no matter how long it takes!
