OMG! I love this blog. Thank you for the new site.

My favorite is fried chicken with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. Oh and I can't forget homemade biscuits with butter. As you can see I really like my butter.

Oh goodness, you are killing me! I am pms'ing and would kill for something sweet right now. Unfortunately, or fortunately, there is nothing sweet in the house.

I have had buffalo wings' date=' they are one of my favorites too. They are a bit of a splurge - even though they are high in Protein, they are also high in fat so I try to avoid them in general. They also make me want to drink beer. :)

I am 4 1/2 months out and have had some popcorn, it's not a trigger food for me so when I get it for my daughter at the movies I'm content having a few bites.

I'm not doing super low-carb so I have had some breads, I find that regular bread fills me up too much but I sometimes will have a slice of toast with my egg for Breakfast - I think the bread being toasted helps it not be too "filling" if that makes sense.

I really don't feel like I'm limited at all with my food options, as long as I get my Protein in first and don't exceed my calorie targets for the day nothing is necessarily off-limits in moderation. I think people just need to know their trigger foods and avoid the slider carbs that can get them off-track (such as the tortilla chips and salsa I ate at dinner tonight with my family - those are a bad slider for me so I really, really try to avoid them).[/quote']

So Indymom does this make you not have stalls. I have read many times that changing your diet will help jump start weight loss again....

I can eat on Tuesday. And its a choice betwen Pasta alfredo or a salmon dish at the Cheescake factory. Yummmmyyy!!!

What a fun post.

How about if you just eat a few bites of the top of the pizza, not the dough. And chew really well. You can always spit in out discreetly.

1 month post op

I am sooo craving Chinese food... chicken fried rice or orange chicken!! I'm afraid to try it bc I am afraid it will trigger dumping syndrome which I seem to trigger frequently. :( Its funny.. Things I think will trigger it don't and things I don't think will end up triggering it fast! Today it was a Protein drink :(

Oh and not the fast food Chinese... Real Chinese! Love the little place I have in town.. Best Chinese ever!

Is it weird to have a love affair with fresh cherries? I always have my lean Protein and veggies first' date=' but I can have 8-10 of these beautiful little fruits and just be in heaven. I'm glad we only have them when they're in season. I'd post a picture, but I'd have to eat more if I got them out to take one.[/quote']

The only sweet I have! I can eat 5 at a time- for a snack and I LOVE them! Yum!

pizza, chinese, and chips and salsa are the foods i cant wait for. I watch food Network daily. Lol. I also find myself cooking much more... even if its just for my family and something i can't eat yet. I miss regular food so bad (in the pureed stage).

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
