Is it ok if i say diarrhea - what a "shitty" thing to say? If its not ok - oops sorry.

I lucked out and only had that problem a couple of times one day.

Actually, i think it was the Protein shakes/milk that caused the problem, but i'm ok now

I am 4 weeks out an still have it every couple days. I guess when I start taking more food in it will get better, thats what my boss says (who is also my surgeon)!!

I am about 2 1/2 months out from surgery, and I have had diarrhea since my surgery. They've blamed it on the gastrograffin you drink right after surgery, liquids in liquids out, colon infection, gallbladder being out...but they still don't know why I still have it. I guess it's better than being plugged up, but it gets old :( I hope your's clears up soon!!

I had it for 7 -8 days, then it stopped.I think it may have also had something to do with anesthesia, because I am still on liquids and I don't have it now. I also had insomnia for first 7-8 days, where I only needed to sleep a few hours a day- that has also stopped. Just be assured that nothing lasts forever and it will get better.Hang in there and remember, there are a whole lot of us out there, going through the same things.
