I Have Been Having The Same Problems. Now I Have To Have A Brouchoscopy Of The Throat And Lung. The Ct Showed Lots Of Bad Stuff As Well And Maybe Even A Cancer Mass!!! Really Scared Right Now. Is It Just The Band Or Really Cancer????? My Band Was To Tight For A While, I Had .5 Taken Out And The Coughing And Reflux Stopped Asap. I Will Keep You Informed As I Go To The Drs For All This. Hang In There, You're Not Alone.

So you didn't get a total unfill but just .5 taken out and it stopped? I have to get a couple more test next week one is on my gallbladder my doctor said that the stone is in the cystalduct going towards the kidney, and that can't be good. I saw a pulmanary doctor yesterday and he said that the Esophegeal Dismotility can cause pnemonia. I hope the mass is just your band. let me know.

I went to my Lapband Dr. yesterday and he took out .6 cc, I slept all night through last night which felt so good.

Anyway, I have multiple stones and my lapband dr. is taking my gallbladder out next friday. I am so sick of being operated on. But the gallstones definently explain why I have been so miserable and so does the unfill. I still have restriction, but it has let up a little. I just want to feel good again.

Thanks for all the advice and I think it is obvious that these are all symptoms of the lapband (pnemonia, esophegeal dismotilility, and gallstones) Is it worth it? I am still contiplating that one. I guess I will know more when I see how I feel after the gallbladder removal.

can to much of a fill make you cough alot like wake you up while your sleeping up till 3am befor you get to rest a little bit kinda cough... i had an unfil yesterday because my band was filled to tight and i was stuck with the tight fill since the 11th of last month. but i am still coughing. my chest feels like i have a fire in it (maybe from coughing so hard) .

If you've gone this long with nighttime reflux, you very well could have bronchitis or aspiration pneumonia. Ask your doctor how you can confirm this. Did he give you any antibiotics??

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
