When You Need Motivation Or Have Qs I'm Happy To Help :)

I'm open to help, assist, butt kick, pat you on the back... all that.

I absolutely believe in this tool with all my heart! It has done for me what I couldn't do for myself nor even the lap band was able to do for me either. It was the best find and I can't say enough how it's given me my life back!!!

I won't say I know everything, because I DON'T! But in my career I always say, if I don't know the answer - someone else does. I'd like to open the discussion for anyone who needs someone to listen or to answer those millions of questions that come with this life altering surgery.

Blessings to all!!! Your dreams are at your doorstep now with the VSG. :)

I am 4 weeks post op and am still really really weak. How did you start working out. Any ideas other than walking? I have resistant bands and ball 2lb weights and a hula hoop.

I was also still very weak at 4 weeks post op. What you are experiencing is quite common. Don't let it worry you, because now I have more energy than I know what to do with. ;) Just start slow, take your time building yourself up. You will get to a point where you're doing a lot more and soon. Walking and stationary bikes, even ellipticals should be fine for you right now.

I started simple cardio on a stationary bike. Now, I ride 11 miles in 30 minutes, 4 days a week. I've also added strength training....I was sleeved March 2nd.

Wow you are really fast on that stationary bike! My best 10M time is just under 32 Minutes. Good job!

Woo Hoo...after more than 7 years, I am finally and officially not obese anylonger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day at the time :)

I thought I'll share my happy thoughts today! Trust your sleeve, eat healthy, drink your water and exercise and your body will love you :)

Happy Thursday!

True maturity comes with recognizing your weaknesses and flaws. True strength comes with admitting your weaknesses and flaws, and correcting them.

Growth won't happen until you look inside yourself, accept you're human and make changes. I don't lie to myself. I take my faults and negatives, throw it out to the Universe and like a boomerang it ALWAYS comes back to me making me stronger and more positive. <3 Good morning Vertical Sleeve Talk!! Whatever you do today, do the right thing.

For without honesty there cannot be healing. Without healing there will never be growth. And without growth we will always be doomed to keep making those same mistakes.

Yes you can drink Slim Fast shakes... though I would encourage perhaps another option. They are very high in sugar. Have you tried the Atkins RTD? I find them very tasty :)

Yes i have them to..

To LOSE the weight, you will have to GAIN: Strength, Motivation, Determination, A willing mind, An unyielding heart, An unfailing spirit, and constant thankfulness for all the goodness in your life. You must FEED yourself daily with healthy nourishment, water, positive words, love, physical activity and encouragement & being lead in the right direction from your supporters, whoever they are.

So true and so happy i found all of you guys are special to me with encouraging words and advice. Love the teamwork.God has really blessed me.

I have settled into 2 lbs a week with stalls sometimes but am happy with my progress. Sometimes I wish I could eat like everyone else.... but then I think look at how far I've come... and my attitude changes and all is good. Working towards goal maybe by Christmas keeping my fingers crossed.
