I just got my IV and am waiting for surgery at 10... Did you have crazy dreams last night? Wow! I'm so ready for this to be over with and the apprehension to be gone... Congrats on being on the other side!!

Is it normal for the doctor to move your Surgery up to the day you fly in..happy and excited tomorrow my big day.....5th on the 6th... everyone please pray for me safe surgery speedy recovery ...safe traveling ..i will be doing the same for everyone else ...

I'm not one who can sit at home. I sit with special needs people. I back at work 1 week after surgery... I'm at work now pulling 12hr I'm just fine no pain.

They are I'm one week at work doing great. Only one scare that needs to heal.. Drink my Fluid.... Get gas strips and walk all the time

I came thru better then ever. Yes walk walk walk and when you don't want to walk some more ..and gas x strips....star med clinic was the best. Finally telling some people i had it done and where but i must say that was the best hospital i have ever been to. The people are so so so nice sometimes to nice...lol would not change a thing.

I do the same. I come from a country town with country mind people. We black folks celebrate everything with food..we are suppose to say we are thick..I'm bigger now then i was giving birth to my last son. I wanna feel and long the way i know i can..i say I'm not just doing this for me it is my family,friends,2 sons 9&6,most of all to be around where they don't have to take care of me over weight with Sugar as we say ..lol I'm so happy to have this site.

Wishing everyone speedy recovery and going up to all my sleever family on here. Doctor office called and said i can have my surgery tomorrow when i get to Dr. RODRIGUEZ ...is that normal looking at the positive side extra day for recovery ..

I had people 2 tell me not 2. I have Pcos. This surgery will be good for me. People always say ur not big. I don't care what people say about me. As long as I have my husbands support and Gods thats all I need. I stop telling people too. I only told those friends and family members who support me.
I would not listen 2 them. YOU deserve 2 take care of yourself.

I went for a long walk. Walked from my apartment through the complex to leasing office then went on the road and walked back (stopping at deli to get husband breakfast on way back)!!! And the best thing... No back pain! Feel very good about it. And I even did it in the rain!

Good morning
I slept a lot yesterday. Used the restroom a lot all night. Everytime I got up I would feel so nauseous and start dry heaving. At about 6am they have me some zofran for the nausea which helped so much. The nurses are so nice. This morning I go for an xray to check for leaks. Everything else is going pretty smoothly. Not alot of gas pain or stomach pain. Got lucky. I think it was all due to your guys' prayers. Thanks soooo much for that. Talk to you all soon. <3 Vee
