(PICTURES) 4 months post op and already reached my 6 month goal

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I'm so excited! I'm a little over 4 months post op and have passed my 6 month goal. I've lost 77 lbs. and have 73 lbs. left to lose. I started at 280 lbs. and am now down to 203 lbs. as of this morning. I love my sleeve! Here are some pictures of before and after. I don't know how these will turn out on here. Hopefully this works!

Thank y'all so much! If you're still on the fence and wondering whether or not to have the surgery, just know that it really does work and I would do it all over again if I had to. I still have struggles but they are far easier to conquer than before I had surgery. I don't know why, but most of the time, turning the wrong foods away is easy. My appetite is so different than before surgery. It's nothing that I've done or am trying to do, it was the surgery itself. Don't get me wrong, I still have bad moments were I really want something and have it but it just takes a bite or two and I'm over it. Used to, I'd eat all of whatever it was and then go hunting for the next thing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
