I'm sorry to hear that your daughter is having a rough recovery. It's probably good they are keeping her, so they can keep a close watch on things. I'm sending healing vibes her way, and please update on her situation in a day or two. I know you are probably very worried about her, but it should be getting better every single day. Praying for you both.

:)

I too stayed in the hospital an extra night (3 all together) due to struggling with the anesthesia and vomiting. After I got home, I felt much better and every day got better and better. Just support her in following her surgeon's instructions and she will heal very well. I am almost 8 weeks out right now and feel 100% healed - better than ever in fact! :-)

Thinking of you and your daughter!

Its different for everyone. I was in the hospital for 5 days, kinda glad too, because a) they have stronger pain meds than they prescribe for home B) that first week you are weak and hurting, better to have professionals take care of you. When I got home, of course it was much better day by day but better safe then sorry. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Aw, that is rough. At least, she has such a caring mother to be there with her. Keeping her in my thoughts and hoping for the best.

I was vomitting alot as well, The first night they would be ' Jonny on the spot' to keep me from being sick. The next day was better, and the third day I vomitted only once. It gets better the farther out from the surgery and I agree with Wishes. She is very lucky to have a loving mom who is there with her.

She is 4 days post up and sill very nauseated. Still in the Hosp, I might add she is a gorgeous Red head. People with Red Hair are harder to put under anesthesia.
