Hi Livvy, I wish I were from London. I was there last year (during the bombings-ugh scary). What a beautiful country, I'd live in England in a heartbeat! Hmm if I lived in London, I'd be able to get my fav hair care product, I can't get it here in the States! Gonna drag my husband to London/England in a few years...that is where his ancestors are from. Take care!

My husband is from Bristol (but he moved to New Jersey so we could get married).... does that count??

anyway, it's nice to talk to someone on the other side of the pond. None of his relatives over there ever heard of such a procedure. I can't wait to tell hubby that even the Brits are doing it!! Good luck and keep in touch!

:help: Hi Magical, I've just joined today!! I live in Surrey so that's 36 miles from you. I've only just seen my surgeon and am going to have the surgery in December so I'm currently excited but a bit nervous too. I haven't a clue what the 'milk diet' is because I have yet to see his dietician. Can anyone fill me in on what the 2 week's pre banding milk diet is?

Hi Magical Me :biggrin1:

I am from yorkshire. Few miles away hum but happy to chat:rolleyes: . I was banded on the 8th July 2006. :peace:

LANA:love:

Hi! I am from Surrey and was very interested to see that someone was from Kingston as that is only about 40 minute drive from where I live. I must admit that I would love to have some local support.

I was operated on in September and have had one fill to very little effect. I am scheduled for another fill in a week and a half time. Hopefully this will do the trick. The diet is fairly easy to follow but the Water drinking timetable really throws me as I have always drunk water at meal times only and never in between. I would drink a couple of pints of water at one meal. Now I can no longer do that and i keep finding i am not drinking enough.

Hope to hear from all of you

Hi

I live in West London, I had my band fitted in February 2006 so far I have lost 54 lbs and I have 16 more to get to goal - I am delighted with the band - but reading this I am surprised at how few people from England have found this website
