Officially sleeved and trying to recover

Okay Im on the loser's bench finally! I cant believe this finally is done! Surgery went great but recovery isnt a cake walk. I didnt feel any shoulder pains but still having gas pain in my abdomin. I did have some nausea a few times in the evening and threw up once due to the blood and bile not sitting well in my stomach. The nurses were so wonderful and they are taking great care of me. I hope I can pass the rest of the gas asap. I am sipping and walking though lol. Thanks for all the support ladies!

Congrats! Recovery is tough but the days will get easier. Keep sippin' and walkin'!

Blessings and speedy recovery!

Thank you to all of you ladies for all the well wishes. I am trying to get that gas out! its in my lower abdomin and its hard to get it out. I have a heating pad on my tummy and im walking a few minutes every hour or so. Did anyone use more than recommended gas x recommendation of 4 chewables in 24 hrs?? I am tempted to use more.

Hey Tee,

Hope you're doing well and moving around so you can start feeling better! I'm starting to get nervous about my surgery on Thursday but I'm glad to know that you're coming through it. :) Keep us updated!

I had a pretty tough first few days with my sleeve as well... but just know that it DOES get better! Just keep walking & sipping as much as possible w/o getting too nauseous! I was sooooo nauseous the first couple days and had a bought here and there during the first week home, but took advantage of the anti-nausea medicine the doc sent me home with! Now I'm two weeks out and starting my blended diet tomorrow! Yeahhhh!

Welcome to the losers bench!!

Glad the nausea stopped for you! I did have some nausea and threw up once...it was like nasty bile and a little blood but i guess it was good for it to come out of my stomach. I Did the contrast today and it was nasty lol not as bad as I though but stil yuck lol I have lost like 8 lbs since sunday and hoping to keep it up!
