So sad that tomorrow is not my surgery date

So tomorrow was supposed to be my surgery date. I keep trying not to think about it and to let it go but it keeps haunting me. I guess I should be glad that at least I was rescheduled for 9 weeks from tomorrow but I am not very patient and it is killing me. Please say prayers for me to be more patient!

Why was it postponed?

((hugs n kisses for you))

When I went in form my pre-surgery testing they found that I am very anemic so we have to get that all under control first.

Sorry to hear your surgery was canceled. I know it's hard to wait, but I am praying that you stay positive and optimistic. It will all work out for the best.

I know how you feel as I was scheduled for surgery in December and arrived at the hospital that morning, but was sent home due to chest congestion and cough. I was not able to reschedule until April so had to wait four months. I know it is disappointing, but the time will pass quickly. I was disappointed, but also knew that I wanted to be healthy when I had surgery in order to recover as quickly as possible.

I know that I would be very upset, but all I can say is that ask yourself what is best for you? I'm sure the doctors know what's best or they would be doing it today. Also offer up your impatience to God. Sometimes this can be very helpful for me.... Good luck!

It is pretty unfortunate that this had to happen...but trust me YOU are lucky to be in the hands of physicians that took this decision. I see some doctors that 'jump the gun' and say 'just give the patient some blood and send him/her to the OR in a few hours". Many complications arise in this manner.

So stay strong...I know you probably think it is easy to say, but we are all behind you and hope that in 9 weeks you will start shedding those pounds!!

Thank all of you so much for the support! My brain knows it is best that it was postponed but my heart begs to differ! I am sure it will all turn out for the best. I am obviously in good hands with the surgeon I have who is watching out for my best health!
