how much Protein are you getting a day?

are you getting your b12 and other Vitamins?

are you getting 64 oz of fluids?

BTW, I also got hungry about 2 weeks out on liquids. I wanted to chew and I was tired of feeling sloshy.

Like I just said in the last post - what Proteins have you tried. If you lets us know what you have tried, maybe we can give you other options.

drink chicken broth - i found that when i was feeling sluggish i would drink chicken broth and i was good.

B-12 is huge. I still take mine every day. I hope it gets better for you.

Thank you for replying, I havent started on B-12 yet. The Doctors wait until your one month post op to start patients on B-12.

I understand your pain. While everyone else was saying how they were not hungry post op.....I was at home 8 days post op hungry like you. Here my suggestions to help.

Try Chinese won ton broth. Order with NO MSG, It's yummy & different than chicken broth in a can...yuck!

Always sip on liquids. Have a huge crystal light or tea or something to constantly be drinking.

I drink Nature's best Isopure vanilla. I hate shakes too, but this is not that bad. I use skim milk, not Water.....big difference. I buy this stuff online called "Fit Nut" it's a low fat, suger free, low calorie Peanut Butter mix to add to your shakes.

As many times as we can say "hang in there" we all mean it cuz we were right where you are. I'm 7 weeks post op and I am so much happier. I promise it will get better. ((HUGS))

You, Me, & all of these sleeve sisters/brothers CAN DO THIS!!!

Order French onion soup at Panera or Bread Company. Order it no croutons and no cheese. Just eat the broth out of it nit the sliced onions. It is so flavorful. It feels like such a treat!!!! I get all the time. If you feel the need to chew, I find sugar free gum keeps my mind of everything. Just don't swallow it!!!

Oh forgot to tell you one thing... I too am 8 days post -op

Also be aware that the "hunger" you feel may be acid, I too had similar sensations but described mine as an "empty" feeling. Started on Prilosec and it made me a lot more comfortable.
