What to eat for my birthday, at 5 weeks out????

I will be celebrating my birthday in just shy of 2 weeks. At that time I will be 5 weeks post-op and am wondering what I can have instead of cake and ice cream.

Any ideas as my family loves to Celebrate so they will want to do something I am sure of it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

HAPPY (almost) BIRTHDAY!

How about some low fat or fat free, sugar free frozen yogurt? Or maybe you can freeze some SF chocolate pudding? Ive never tried it but it should work. Top it with some fat free cool whip if you want to get fancy :) Im sure you can find some healthy desert ideas online, bariatriceating.com or allrecipes.com, maybe even weightwatchers.com

Good luck!

Are you eating cream cheese yet? If so, you could make a cheesecake with low-carb filling and just don't eat the crust.

Hmmm - just re-read the comment above...... I bet cream cheese whipped up with sugar-free chocolate pudding would make a pretty damn acceptable chocolate cheesecake filling mmmmmmmmm

I just bought an ice cream maker, to put protein drinks in.....might be a nice early bday gift... Cuisinart ice20 gets the best raiting in its class, I got mine for around $31 including shipping.....

You can make a sugar free banana pudding. Get the low fat vanilla wafers (they will be soggy anyway from the pudding, sugar free vanilla pudding, bananas and low fat cool whip. I have been making it that way for years and my hubby loves it.

OOOh... sugar free cheesecake is good! And banana pudding with sugar free vanilla pudding is very good. Thanks for asking the question, Daezeey! I had forgotten about these treats!

Love love love Hungry Girl! FYI she has her own show on Cooking Channel/Food Network. I personally am loving watching it and I own one of her cookbooks.

Thanks for all the suggestions :)
