Is this the way I'm suppose to feel

Ok so I'm just wondering I'm 10 days out from being sleeved. I'm more sore now then when I first had it. Is this natural? It's a different type of sore....more like someone hit me in the stomach.....could there be bruising??? Just need to know I didn't over do it and hurt my sleeve. I went grocery shopping and have felt it more since.

Still know regrets! I'm not craving any food and doing great on the weight loss.

Hi hope, you know even now I feel bouts of soreness here and there. I'm not a Dr. though, so I tell you that not really knowing exactly what you're feeling. Of course if you think at all what you're experiencing is abnormal then please call your surgeon.

Congrats on your loss so far!!! You are doing really well :)

By no means am I a Dr. but I was more sore about that time also. My Dr. told me it was because I was moving more and doing more things. Just watch how you get up and what you are lifting on. The one thing that got me thru this was that I kept telling myself that this too shall pass. It did and I am 5 weeks out and feel great!!!!

I agree with kgremmy. I too felt more soreness due to doing more. I would look at my holes on my tummy and think "this is just as raw on the inside only it's the entire length of my stomach. Take it easy." Pain tells us to slow down. Also the heating pad became my best friend.

I remember the same sensation. All the pain killers were out of my bloodstream and the swelling started to subside. I think it's from being stretched by the gas that's pumped into your belly during surgery. It subsides aa the healing progresses.

You MAY also be feeling acid pain too, I eventually had to start on Prilosec because of the upset feeling I had - each person feels it differently, some pain some just upset.

Ah I remember 10 days and it's already 6 weeks! Boy does time fly and down 30 pounds after 2 weeks make sure you get 60 grams of protein and 64 oz of fluid or you will not lose weight as fast! But remember if u have protein shake it's added as fluid I just found something I like only took me 6 weeks! Atkins chocolate 15 grams protein and one scoop of unflavored unsury whey protein 25 grams protein next morning dropped 2 pounds! I just started sit ups and still soar!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! I just didn't think that was the day I did the MOST and really haven't stopped since. Moving around a lot more! I just got scared maybe I pulled something. I feel silly now asking the question. I'm SO GLAD I have you all here for me!!!! OH and the heating pad has been my best friend too but I do only use it at night.
