  1. This is just from my experience. I had my son 3 months ago and was sleeved 12/14/2010. *What are the major differences in pregnancy before and after the VSG procedure? Fuller faster.... *Did you have weird cravings? It seems like you would not because the Ghrelin is gone. Not weird but you did have cravings. *Did you gain a lot of weight? Was it a struggle to gain the weight? I gained about 45 lbs and no it was not a struggle to gain the weight. I was monitored a lot more closely and the weight crept on at the end. Some of it was Fluid. *Were you nauseous? more than normal. Nope. *Were there any concerns about taking in enough food for the baby? No, they will monitor you *Anything else noteworthy? I had a healthy happy pregnancy. I find that it is a little harder to lose the weight now but it is coming off. I am just going to be patient and I know that it will come off again, after all I did just have a baby.
  2. Hello!!! Well, baby boy is doing well...we are still not sleeping thru the night but I know that it is a work in progress. I could not do a weeks worth of liquids like I had originally planned. So I am going back to tons of protein protein and pushing the liquids. I have about 35 more to lose and then I will be back to my 133 lbs. I know that with working out and the support from here and other places that we will do this. I hope that we can all check in and support each other yet once again!!!
  3. I have posted this on the pregnancy site but I wanted to know what you did to get your weight loss going again after a stall? My stall was pregnancy but I need idea/thought son getting back focused on losing weight. Thanks
  4. I just had my baby boy and I have about 40 lbs to shed. I am stressing out because I feel as though my hunger is back to what it was before and I can't find the energy or determination that I had before to lose this weight. I am going to try to do a week of liquids starting tomorrow but I know that with out proper exercise and I won't get that till I go back to work on 8/19. What have you done to get back in the right mind set to focus back on your weight loss? I know that the sleeve is permanent but I feel as though my sleeve has stretched out...I need to focus and focus hard.....
  5. No...I have not...my gastric doctor won't even see me until after the baby is born and my ob did not say anything about about it either.
  6. Hello!! I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and have gained like 8 lbs so far. I feel as though I weight my pre-sleeve weight (was 225 lbs) and I am only 153.8 as of this morning. I too am also worried that I will not get back to my size 4's and that I will not get to my goal weight (I still has about 10 lbs to go before I got pregnant). I know that my sleeve is permanent but I still worry that after I have the baby that I will not be able to do it again. I guess that I will have to get back to the basics and try to follow the rules as much as possible and try to incorporiate the rules while pregnant. I know that I certanly can eat a whole lot more but again, I again I am hoping that after the baby that things will go back to normal again. Good luck to all of you.

    Eating

    I am the same way. I am 11 weeks and I find that I can eat more than I use to a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to gain too much weight and want to eat and scared that I gain too much and will be hard to lose the weight after the baby is born.
  8. Due to life's stresses and work stresses, I find that my eating habits are not like they use to be 6-8 months ago. I need to know from others what did you do to get back on track with your eating again? I am pretty much just doing what ever. I know that I need to start back exercising and will do so on Monday. However, I need to know what you did to bring yourself back to the proper eating. Thank you so much for your help.

    Well, I said Monday but this morning when I woke up, I said nope, tomorrow. I had not prepared my food and I need to get to the store but I am getting BOT tomorrow. I welcome it back. I will do this. I can do this.

    I am also starting the boot camp on Monday. I am planning my meals for the week and getting focused again. I am giving myself till 11/12/2012 to try and lose 10 lbs. I WILL DO THIS!!!

    Easter Challenge!

    I am in....starting a little late but I have 6.6 lbs to lose till I get to my goal, so I am going to shoot for 6.6 lbs....I started back working out so hopefully that will move things around.
  20. I was sleeved 12/14/2010 and have lost 108 lbs. I recently lost focus with my eating and my exercise. I have been really stressed with work and with some personal issues. I am finally back to the point where I am getting focused on getting everything back in line. My question is this: My eating has not been the greatest. For those of you that have had slip ups in the past with the sleeve, how have you gotten refocused? I am planning on tomorrow to start protein, protein and more protein, power aide zero and cheese and just focus on getting back to the basics. I am starting today with my exercise and that is going to be okay, I am just worried with the eating and getting that back under control and back to the point of where I was at before. Thank you for all of your help!

    For Those Who Love Soda...

    I have drank it since beeing sleeved. I sip on one a day. I found that I started this as a cruch when I got super stressed out but I have enjoyed my last one. I am going back to all water and powerade zero again starting tomorrow. If I want a sip then I will drink a sip but other than that it is water and powerade zero. When I would drink them, I never had issues with it at all.

  23. Awesome!!! I have an Old Navy skirt that is a size 2. I own two artilces of clothing that are a size 2. I love my sleeve. Now if just to get these last 10 lbs gone....
  24. I have got to get refocused and get my eating back under control. To many junk items have been creaping back into my diet and I feel blah. I have not exercised in a while due to work and other factors but I have to remember to tell myself that I have to think of me first. I have work hard to get where I am at. I hope that this slump that I have been in will be what I need to shake things up and for me to start losing again. I have 10 lbs left to get to goal and those 10 lbs are going to...
