I'm 34 and had my surgery on Nov. 9th, I tried to have the procedure done years ago but I had to change Dr's seeing my old Dr was dead set on not having any of his patients have the surgery (his dad passed away w/complications from the RnY). I finally had it done and love every minute of my life now

I'm 55 - and wish this had been availble 20 years ago. I recall a friend had the bypass done in 1988. First thing she said to me was that she wished she had never gone through the procedure - she was in so much pain. Medical progress - you have to love it!!!!
