I'm 45 and pre-op. First appointment with my surgeon today! Can't wait to be sleeved!

I got my sleeve Sept 1,2010. I am almost 61. Like the other older ladies I wish I could have had it years ago!

I'm the oldest here, I think... I turned 61 last August.. but I'm a very YOUNG 61, LOL!!!

For a decade I waffled back and forth about getting the SLEEVE, knew I desparately needed to lose weight but so didn't want a foreign object implanted inside me. I'm NOT SORRY I waited, as I am thrilled with the Sleeve so far... but I do wish they had it available when I was younger.

No matter... hot DANG, girls, I am going to be one smokin' hot Mama this summer, just you watch.

Back to the age thing... my surgeon said that they are doing people well into their 70's, and even would consider someone as old as 80 if they were in good shape. They do Bypasses on old people, why not the sleeve????

Whoopdee doo for my bandarooo...

I was 50 when I had surgery June 11, 2011 - I love my sleeve!

I am 27 (turn 28 in Feb) and am so glad that I didn't wait any longer. Lots more years to enjoy!!!! :)

Surgery is Feb 9th and I'm 63.

I'm 29 - just sleeved in Dec 2010. The sleeve is my 30th birthday gift to myself. I'm hoping I'll be feeling amazing when I turn 30 (around 10 months time).

I'm 44 and scheduled for March, I too wish I could have done it years ago.

I was just shy of my 54th five months ago. Like everyone else I wish I could have done this 20 years ago but better late then never!

53 for me and it has been an amazing 9 months since surgery. It's like getting a new lease on life..whatever your age. What a wonderful weight loss tool.
