I'm 46 and got it done in September -- wish I had done it 15 years ago

I was 44.... wish I could have done it 15 years before that!

38 (I will be 39 on Jan 17...so yep, I'm still claiming 38, lol)

41 and wished this surgery was around 10n years ago!

I'm 44, sigh (hate thinking I'm that old!!) -- i wish i would have done it sooner!!

46 years old and due to be sleeved in March.

I was 31 for my band and 32 for my VSG revision.

I am 57 and had my sleeve on September 27th of 2010. Would have LOVED it this had been available when I was 20 years younger :-) My life would have been way different! I love that so many of you young people are taking hold of your health NOW!

I was 31 when I had the lapband and just had the sleeve Dec. 30th at age 33, will be 34 in a few days. I'm glad I've gotten it now, but do wish I wouldn't have wasted any years feeling miserable, and failing at diet after diet. So ready to start my new life

I had this procedure done a week ago and I'm 24. I'm grateful I was able to have this operation available to me at such a young age. Saying that, I had a lot of psychological support and therapy before the op and am continuing to see an eating disorder specialist now. This is a great tool; all we have to make sure is that we are mentally recovering now as well.

I've known for a long time my bout of depression and bullying at school triggered comfort eating for me and I know have to change the way I view food. It's not supposed to be there to comfort me or reward me when something even goes right, it's there for me to survive each day. Good luck on your journey and I hope everything goes very well for you

I'm 25 and was sleeved 3 weeks ago!

I am 36 and was 36 when I got the VSG in October! I wish I would of found this 15 yrs ago.

I had it done at 42...I wish I could of had it done at 29 after my last child was born ...congrats to you!!!
