7 1/2 hrs until I'm Banded!!!!!

:clap2: Tomorrow is the day I go under the knife! I'm scared and excited. Any tips on how to sleep tonight and any last minute advise on the surgery? I could sure use any tips anyone has. Please keep me in your prayers. I'll catch up as soon as I'm home.

I've been home since before noon. Things went great. I had surgery at 8:15 and by 9:30 I was walking laps around the hospital! I feel great! I have only minor soreness and a scant amount of bleeding from the sites. I had a wonderful nap and now I am planning for the rest of my life. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes!

By the time you get this you will already have had your surgery. Hope it went all right. I had mine done June 7 so I clearly remember what you are going through. I passed my one week mark yesterday. Everyone told me about the months to come but not much about the week to come. The ads tell of those who went to work in two days. They were a heck of a lot stronger than me. My insurance lost my first papers and I had already started my liquid diet, therefore I was on it for three weeks and lost 25 lbs before I even had the surgery. I may have been a little weak going in. My main problems were gas pains, and stomach cramping everytime I drank anything. I became severely dehydrated. The good news is that on the 7th day I woke up feeling like a different person. Today, the 8th day, I feel even better, so hopefully the worst is behind me. If you have any questions, feel free to ask since I am only a few days ahead of you. It really wasn't that bad, I just wasn't expecting some of the things I experienced and I was always afraid something was not right.

As of today I have lost 31 lbs. Only 125 more to go.

sleep? Who can sleep before their surgery. I hope you have TV because tonight you will be watching it ALL NIGHT LONG!

Good luck! Banding was the absolute best thing I ever did in my life.
