Need a fill doctor in Florida

Recommended Posts

Hmm after reading this thread it sounds like it would be cheaper for me to fly hmoe to Illinois for a fill than to establish care in Florida. I currently pay $130.00 and have had 6 fills. Why would I pay start up costs plus higher fill fees in Florida? Airfare is $400 round trip at the most. Usually less.

DR LARSON _ LAKE WORTH $285 per fill

I recently went to Dr. Larson in Lake Worth. He takes patients banded in Mexico but does require a surgery report.

Numbed the area first before the fill, didn't fill too tight. Very nice office and staff. I would recommend him it was a good experience.

Has anyone had a fill with the the new Fill Center Location in Deland FL? I was told there is no fluro. Just curious if anyone has used this provider? I have been using the ST. Pete location, but it's 2h 45m away. The Deland location is like 15 min!

I live in Tampa and I'm having my LAP-BAND® surgery Nov 27. I have been checking out the cost of fills locally and it appears its cheaper to fly back to San Diego (Tijuana) and get my free fills from Dr Gonzalez, then to pay all these program fees and additional fill costs.

I ended up going to Dr Murr at Tampa General. They are wonderful Drs. and nurses, the procedure doesn't hurt and best of all, all it costs is my Insurance co-payment!!

Yeah another Dr. Murr patient.. I also live in Tampa, and I only pay my co-pay for fills which is $40.00. Dr. Murr did my surgery and his staff is great. I actually get numb for my fills it's a little uncomfortable at times because where my port is located, but I survive.

He's at the USF Center at Tampa General Hospital. Hope everything works out for you.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
