Post-op Olive Oil?

Has anyone here tried taking a teaspoon or tablespoon of olive oil once per day post op, in order to maintain skin/hair/nails as well as help to lubricate the esophagus? Any luck with it?

The threads above are very old. Does anyone have recent experiences of taking a tbls of beneficial oils post op? I'm not talking about cooking with it, I'm interested in experience with a small does during the full liquid phase.

I haven't done it yet, but I plan to add a tablespoon of coconut oil daily somehow. Getting the oil from the inside has a lot of benefits.

I eat a tablespoon of coconut oil a day. A colon rectal surgeon recommended it to help with constipation.

Has anyone tried adding oil to get out of a stall. Sometime the fat is needed if you are on a very low fat diet.

oh yes I took a tablespoon of coconut oil. And it did help with digestion, violently! Haha
