What we should do is have everyone post a picture of themselves... May 31st date or something very representative of the starting weight and at the end of the challenge, post another updated picture. Wouldn't that be cool?

That sounds like a good idea but I'm not taking one now and posting it. I'm in my jammies! I will do it tomorrow though. :biggrin1:

wow! I love that swim suit. I'll get hubby to take some before photos tonight to post, then at the end of the challenege we can take new ones and put them side by side. Great idea!

Posting my loss for this week. Start 258, now 231. Down 27lbs!!!! I would love to show my before and after pics...maybe when I'm down 50 lbs. Everyone is doing such a good job!

I too will take a pic this evening, I think it's a great idea! And can someone tell me more about this sauna suit??? If I could wear it at a Jazzercise class, that might not be a bad idea...

As a side note, I'm feeling better from the acid reflux which resulted from a morning PB on Tuesday. I didn't sleep at all Tuesday night but yesterday was better I was able to get down Soup and today I'm able to comfortably drink my morning Protein shake.

I'm going to stick to liquids a few more days, especially since the scale is making nice little jumps. :)

heya all

well i have good news! I feel a LOT better! So much so that I actually got in my Water yesterday. AND I GOT LAID!!! i am counting that as my excersize cause it got my heart rate up, lasted way over 30 minutes, and wore my sick ass out!! LOL This tonsilitis is finally turning. Thank god! I am still in a lot of pain, but not just sitting here crying from it. And I can swallow! I am actually going to eat today!!! I am so excited. I just don't know what to eat. I think I might just do something soft like some redbeans and rice. and maybe some cottage cheese. something like that. But I am not about to gain all the weight back that this illness took from me. If I had to suffer through hell to lose 12 pounds in a week, then dammit i am keeping those 12 poundsoff! LOL

Nut! I saw on the list that you have my current weight incorrect. :) I am not 350 any longer. I am so proud to say that. Rob actually said that he really noticed it when he hugged me last night. said that he could feel the muscles in my back. Cool! I am gonna take pics tonight and put them with my score card. Tht way I can do a before and after for this month as well.

Good luck all you GFG'ers!! Lets make this a summer to remember!! What you do today will be rewarded tomorrow, and this time next year we are all gonna be sunning ourselves on the beach in little polka dot bikinis!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

        I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

        Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
