Congrats to last month's winners!!

Telly - you're my hero, you look awesome. I've said it before, I'll say it again, it's nice to see the band really work for someone who really works the band!

And in the interest of full disclosure... Here's my swimsuit photo taken Monday (memorial day woohoo!). Luckily I bought a 3-piece (top, bottom, skirt) at LB last year that still fits and covers most of what makes me go "eek!" ;)

But with the GFG club on my side, I am going to lose some pudge by 4th of july and look better (and i know i look better than the last time i wore this suit, june 05, i was at least 30 lbs. heavier). so instead of worrying about how i look in this swimsuit, i'm just going to hope that it lasts through the season while i work my butt (and gut) off!

you gals are my inspiration, seriously.

You are a sweetie and thank you for the compliment. You really do look great. Your weight loss makes you look like you lost 50lbs. I think you lost a crap load of inches in the 30lbs.

I have alot of inspirers (muses) in this club and you all know who you are. I'm glad I have you guys, though it's cyberworld, I have some people I consider friends that are there for me when I'm feeling vulernable.

Tricia I tried leg lifts tonight, and they totally kicked my butt! I did 3 sets of 20 of all my arm exercises, my thighmaster, and some toe-raises, but those leg lifts i could only do one set of 20 for each leg and each way (sides and fronts... so i guess 80 overall, 40 per leg). SOOOOOOO hard. But good overall I'm sure ;)

Cate - that's great. The best thing to do is to start with a few and then build your way up. I should probably start doing more because I'm not feeling much resistance anymore. I did mix it up last time and did the Buns of Steel video, which incorporates A LOT of variety and kicks my arse!

As soon as this cold is gone, I'm back to the grind! Yay!!

I am SO proud of everyone for all that you have done!

I will post my score-card in just a few minutes!

P'nut...can you change my current weight to 169 and total loss to -41 lbs (9 lbs to go and I will be at -50 loss total...yippie!)

I am attempting to add some pics of Duke and I as well as the boys so you all can put faces with the family that you have been praying for. For those of you that are new Duke is my husband of 16 amazing years that was recently diagnosed with a rather agressive case of colon cancer, he is doing wonderfully (regardless of how crummy chemo makes him feel) and we all can't wait to have him back 100% to his normal onery self!

I love all the pictures and seeing how well everyone is doing. I've been told that I've lost weight in my face, and I fit chairs better. I need to get out the camera...maybe for the July Club.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

      Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs. 
      I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm. 
      I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order. 
      My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
