Lins, I stopped keeping a journal cause nothing changes LOL I should get back into the habit of keping one.

Kristin I think a halter top would work well too. Or maybe a tankini. If you do not like your back, cover it! And I think something that plunges in the front may help to camoflage any flatness you feel you have. Also, go for a solid color. Prints make us look heavier. Nothing wrong with a little black bathingsuit :D

Question: through journaling I have figured out that my BAD spot is between lunch and dinner. I get to I feel like I "deserve something" and I just get a weird urge. Any ideas on how to conquer this battle? At least I have narowed it down.

I went through the DREADED bathing suit shopping recently and got the cutest suit. It is very simple but VERY flattering. I also got a cute little skirt to wear with it. Looks darling. I got it at Target. Here are the links:

Lins this is one of my downfall times too. I like to have a small Protein Drink, or some small Protein rich food around this time. The protein helps to keep me feeling full, and it does not cost me valuable calories. I also drink a lot of Water during this time. The water makes me feel ful, as well as the running to the bathroom constantly keeps me out of the kitchen LOL

Maybe boost your lunch with Protein. What are you having for lunch now? Perhaps you are getting hungry before dinner because Breakfast and lunch were "light". Many people seem to eat lighter in the mornings and graduate to the big meal of the day at dinner time. If that's you, try eating a "heavier" lunch and see if it takes away the urges.

If that's not the case... then perhaps it's boredom? What are you doing between lunch and dinner? If it is boredom, try to think of something you could do that would keep you busier. Like walk or exercise. (I'm a good one to talk.. Ive been so bad at that part of this journey!) hehe

Love the swimsuit. Very classic.

Thank you all soo much for the great ideas! I got the halter one at Old Navy and the black one with the skirt from Target! Ya'll are too good!

Tomorrow I go for my 3 month follow-up appointment. I'm kinda excited because I'm going to get an unfill. I've been throwing up on and off for the past week. I think I'm still too tight.

Those of you with 4cc bands- how much fill do you have?????? I weigh 222 am 5'6" and have 1.8cc in a 4cc band. I would like some taken out, but I don't want to lose all restriction. I tried to stick it out with being too tight because I didn't want to pay $100 again to get some taken out, but since I'm going to the beach this weekend for a wedding, I figure better safe than sorry...plus this last week has been miserable. I'm throwing up Gatorade today.

Anywhoo...thanks for listening, ya'll are the best!

Okay I'm back! I've lost 3 lbs, starting weight was 237 and just went to the Dr. and was 234! Starting REAL pre-op diet in about a week, for now just low-cal low-fat and lots of Water. All of your suggestions about www.FitDay.com were great! It really helps you realize how much more calories you eat and to stay on track.

Dr. said I have cervical and lower back whiplash...told me to take it easy until I get better but I'm still going to at least walk...

I saw most of my favorite personalities in this Good for Good club, and had to be a part.

H: 358 S: 350 C: 319 G: 150

I am married, have one son, 10, one daughter 3, work as a school secretary...cAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER in 2 weeks. Live in Bay City, MI; surgery with Dr. Boutt Port Huron. Am afraid to lose weight, but loving the way i feel when I do. Drink with my meals, cause i've been so daggone thirsty everytime i breathe. Love the hot weather...cause it makes me lose weight. Play guitar, piano, saxophone, sing (like pretty good...had some training, not just a karaoke singer) love to karaoke...cause I can! Don't drink, smoke, swear ,or chew or go with guys that do. But often, i wish I did.

Me, in a nutshell. If I ever get a camera, I will post some pics. You who have are simply AMAZING...and some are brave!!!! Wow!!!!

I would like to be a member of the Gone for Good club but right now I'm having difficulty staying on my diet. I have lost to date 119 but I have been at 129 lb loss. I need all the support I can get so please you guys help me.

Need to tell you guys something funny... Last night I was messing around sucking on hubby's neck and just goofing around. (Neither of us think hickey's are an attractive thing) Well, he went to work today and forgot all about it.... he had a small one on his neck... but big enough for the guys at work to notice. Boy, did they give him a hard time :rolleyes: hahhahhaaa, he said he was going to get me tonight... guess I better be asleep before he comes to bed!

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
      Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

      Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.
