Monday Morning Weigh In

Recommended Posts

I know it's Tuesday but I had to share! BROKE the week long stall - finally! I'm actually quite grateful that it was only a week! Yipppeeee! Hit 229 today - haven't seen that number in a long time. Added a 45 minute bike ride to the repertoir and, I think moving to mushies has helped.

It's actually been quite the last couple of days; found out that a hard boiled egg eaten quickly does NOT count as a mushy - found that out the very painful, slimy way. Will my sleeve ever forgive me??? I'm so sorry oh Great Sleeve Master!!! :) Then, had my first real BM in almost a month! TMI, sorry. And - as most know by now, discovered how very important acid reducers are in regards to "hunger". What a ride it's been already!!

Yay!

Today I weighed 147.5 lbs. That is up 0.5 a pound from last Monday, but I will say I enjoyed my beef teriyaki each day I was home in Washington State last week, which was not so wls appropriate:-)

I'm taking one more night off of exercise today because I got really sick over the weekend and am still just so tired. That means my exercise routine has dropped from 5-7 days each week, to 2 days a week for the last 3 weeks...oh well.

I hope everyone else had a good week.

This morning I weighed 144 pounds. That's a 3 pound loss from last week. I've decided my goal is to try to maintain between 140-148 pounds.

Wow, I didn't realize I was down 9.4 pounds since last week. That really rocks!! I'm going to be doing the happy dance all week! I know this is because I'm so newly post-op but I'm still delighted. I love my sleeve!

Deedee, you are doing great. How cool that you're in maintenance now!

AJW, you're going to be in the 150's before you know it.

Chancie, it's good to see you back here!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
