NSV shout outs

  • Popular Post

Hi all. I am now down roughly 60 pounds and seven weeks out from when I started my liquid pre-diet. Am also having some awesome NSV moments. Some are:

  • No longer wearing 3x shirts. They are packed and ready to be taken to Goodwill.
  • My size 48 (expandable) pants? Gone too.
  • Can button my pants at my belly button. No more "slant pants."
  • I wore a much smaller belt...and it was a new one!
  • Went three days this past week without needing a mid day nap.
  • Three days now without any slimes or throwing up.
  • Joined a local health club to work out.
  • Snoring is all but gone. No more BP meds at all (125/65 is normal now). And BMs much more normal and less stressful.
  • Bought myself an I-touch. That was my 50 pound loss gift to myself. Any suggestions for the 100 plateau?

That's a short list, but ones that come to mind.

Please, share yours!

Let's look at the fact that this journey is not just about the weight loss, but about all the wonderful things that continue to happen along the ride!

I actually can wear a XL flair skirt . I can finally wear skirts and shirts and get rid of my MOO MOO dresses.

When I hug my children, I can actually feel them and wrap my arms around them.

I don't feel like a slob.

I can wear two bras comfortably to keep things up.

I am able to zip up my winter coat without feeling like I am about suffocate.

I can actully wear a jacket under my winter coat if i need to.

I can cross my legs better (I am always crossing them)

I can run up and down the stairs without my knees hurting!

I can go all day without deodorant and not smell like a skunk.

I can shave without any problems.

I love my sleeve and I look forward to many NSVs.

Later Losers!

A huge NSV for me this weekend... I went to the southern womens show yesterday with my sisters just like I do every year but this time I was able to walk through the turn style to get in instead of walking around it. I was so excited and thrilled!!!????????????

Well a couple things that are great lastly that I have come to notice. First I saw a mint color pea coat that I just had to have. Right now I am a large top sometimes a medium depending on the style. Wonder s why large wasn't fitting! Tried Xlarge and it fit but then I realized I was in the junior section! XL in juniors cloths, I'll take it. I couldn't ever where junior before. Then I also started to notice at work, when I sit in my chair neither side of my thighs touch the arms of the chair!! It's amazing!!!! No more fat cutting into the arms of chairs what a feeling????

Had another sleep study. I no longer need my cpap. No more looking like darth vader in the bedroom.

Awesome nsv shout out jenn1.

I love every one of these!

NSV in my 6th month..

Went to an appointment today. The receptionist has not seen me since I had surgery. (105 pounds ago) She was flat out shocked. She asked me if I stopped eating. I disclosed that I had sleeve surgery. She told me that I had better results than people she had seen on the biggest looser. Funny...she said I looked hot and grabbed my thigh..Humm how the hell do I take that.

I have a hard time seeing what other people see when they look at me. I'm always taken back by responses that I get from people that knew me as morbidly obese.

What a hilarious day

Every little victory is awesome but I really, honestly, (swear to God HONESTLY) get sick of the shock and awe. Just be happy for me, say I look nice and MOVE ON! It's more about how I feel than how I look (most days anyway). On a side note.... NSV of the day: wearing a pair of trouser pants to work that I knew were lose but having to use some stockingnet (I work in medical field - this is the sleeve that goes under a cast) to rig up a belt because my pants were literally falling down. About to say goodbye to size 16 I hope!
