I have a id that allows you to keep medical information current online so that first responders have access to your info. I got it cuz I am diabetic and cuz I ride motorcycles. This little gem has come in handy because I don't have to fill out numerous questionnaires about medical history when I see new doctors--it's all accessible by my giving the person the website and my code and password. It is called RoadId.com if anyone is interested.

Very cool, I am going to check this out. It would be great for my elderly parents as well.

This is interesting. If you were in a bike accident how would anyone know where to look for your info? Is the info on a medical alert bracelet or something?

It is a bracelet or a necklace. The first responder can call the number and get the info over the phone or in email or online from putting in the code and security number from the backside of the id. A mechanical voice "reads" the info over the phone. The ones with printed info only give you 4 lines of info. That is not enough room to list my allergies alone. By getting the interactve one, I can update my medications, family contact numbers, etc anytime I want to. If I change my phone number of next of kin or change my doctor's numbers or whatever, I can make that change without have false information on the bracelet or needing to order a new one.
