New ideas for soft foods please

Recommended Posts

I was bannered on the 15th June and I'm ment to be on Soft foods, I get bored quickly with eating the same foods all the time. I have basically lived of mash with something added (Ie mince, tuna, carrot, sweet potato) to it for 2 weeks now and I'm getting sick of it. Since I started my pre op diet I have stayed away from bread and Pasta and that has been fine but I need new ideas for meals.

Help please! X

I always looked for something with Protein or added protein to it. oatmeal with some vanilla protein, scrambled eggs sometimes with salsa to change it up, refried Beans with cheese and salsa, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese with some pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce. Deli turkey was on my list of soft foods...lots of that. I tended to stick with the same things as well, as I knew it worked for me. It's ok to get a little creative! good luck.

Cottage cheese, refried Beans and anything you like just throw it in a blender! Instant mush.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
