I used Dr. Ren-Fielding from the bariatric group at NYU in Manhattan. I absolutely would recommend them if you would consider having this done in the city.

I think you are very wise to shop for the best surgeon. A good surgeon can make the difference between success and failure. Good luck to you! There is a surgeon rating scale on this board that can be searched. I wouldn't go to anyone who doesn't have a five star rating, and a lot of experience.

I'm going with dr. Pucci in Ridgewood (rt 17 north past garden state plaza). He works out of Englewood hospital which is like the Mercedes Benz of hospitals in northern NJ.

I am in south jersey and use Dr. Goldstein vorhees... i couldnt be happier with my choice

My doc is Stefanie Vaimakis. She has several offices in Bergen County and works out of Englewood and Holy Name Hospitals. I love her.
