  3. I was banded on 7/1. It took at least 3 weeks to sleep well (pain meds of course). This to shall pass. I recommend staying in a very cold room. That worked for me. Just relax and little by little it will get better. I still have port pain & my dr said it will take at least another 2-3 months of port moments. Good luck and congratulations
  4. What a great moment. So happy for you. May your progress continue.
  5. Hello everyone. I had my first fill this weds. Had no problem with water or ground beef I had for dinner. It was when I took my meds that it went bad. I was stuck for a while. Next day had shakes & water no problem again got stuck on jut one small pill. What a horrible experience. I had pineapple juice, water, walked, hands up, jumped till 4 hrs later. Well, my question is could the fill be too much? Does the fill loosen up light a new pair of shoes? What am I doing wrong? Thanks
  6. Be patient, it will go down. Good luck
  7. Be careful, about a month after being banded i hadron click shake (with coffee) and I felt I was on speed. I haven't had coffee since I'm waiting for next dr appt.

  11. I'm getting to the frustrated phase wondering if I'm eating a quarter of what I used to eat and feel a lot better then why doesn't the scale show. Today I reminded myself of a comment made by a person on this board "it took a while to put it on, a while longer to take it off". But hey, I'm human & I want to shout sometimes. Then I go to this board to calm down. Thanks guys
  12. I had the most delicious salad today & I ate it like filet miñon. Ate protein first but old habits are hard to break of mixing it up. Also, chew chew & chew some more.
  13. A good 3-4 weeks. Take it easy, relax & sleep. Feel better congratulations

  15. While @ universal Orlando I went on the Jurassic park ride 3x's and my ovaries were in my throat. I feel your pain. If it persists call dr. That happened to my ex & it wasn't good. But have faith.
  16. I love the lasagna cup: fat free ricotta, 3 turkey meatballs, skim milk mozzerella cheese, a little pasta sauce, 2 minutes in the microwave and víola: awesome!!! Oh, hungry girl recipes are next on my list.
  17. Thanks for sharing. I am getting some great ideas. I did notice that when I went from 800 to 1000 calories, it jumped started me again. After 1 month I'm down 20lbs. Thank you God.
  18. Congratulations. May your path be fast & easy.
