Do they have to make the surgery date after your last consultation or can they make it sooner? How long before your surgery date was yours scheduled?

They scheduled my surgery the day they got ok from Insurance Co and it was scheduled 2wks out.My surgeon only had access to OR

1 1/2 days per week.

Mine was about 2 weeks in advance.

I had to wait until my preop appoint. Then they scheduled it for about 2 weeks later.

once my ins approved me (and gave me a 3 month window time frame to have it done), my lap band dr had me in and we scheduled the date and from day i found out i was approved to surgery was about 3 weeks. (i had to get my hospital pre admittance done, do a final sleep test for the cpac and then i was on the pre op diet) so those last final weeks flew by..
