5 days post op and I made it to work

Well, I made it to work this morning but not without a pain pill to get me to a comfortable stage to where I can sit for 8 hours at my desk. I had to place a small pillow on my stomach under my seat belt but that worked out ok for the 50 minute drive. I will be getting up and down several times during the day and going on small walks. Feeling pretty good all but the many hot flashes I am having. I guess that will go away after my body comes out of shock from the surgery. All in all, looking forward to what is to come!!! Not really minding the all fluid liquid diet.

5 days post op and 10 lbs off already...wahoooooo

Congratulations for making it this far. It gives me hope, I start the pre-op diet tomorrow and I'm just going to grit my teeth and get through it. So it's good to hear from others who have been there. Good luck with the rest of your journey, and congrats on the weight loss also.

Hey that's awesome! so proud of you! I only hope I can get back to work that quickly.

I could not do it if not for the pain pills kkua, I can tell they are wearing off. Sitting in a chair upright seems to be the most uncomfortable setting for me...wearing a bra after 5 days is VERY uncomforable also!

Me too! I'm back at work. No pain killers needed! I'm lucky!
