Gone for Good Club - May 2006

Day 2 of working out~ WOW... I did 6 minutes on the elliptical instead of 5. I plan to bump up a minute everytime I work out. I did the treadmill for only 6 minutes because I didn't have on my walking shoes and I tore my footsies up bad... BLISTERS!!! I won't do that again. Then I did all my weight machine thingies... Don't ask me what they are, but it is a row of machines that you can do like on your lunch break for a 30 minute workout. I love IT!!! I am glad that tomorrow isn't a workout day though. I will need the break. I will just do my walking tomorrow. :)

Here are my stats for this week:

C 254 (-111 lbs total, -0 lbs this week)

:think Disappointed about that, but I just started at the gym and next week is TOM, so I never lose the week before... I would be a lot more sad about no weight loss if I wasn't looking so cute in my clothes:eek:

I guess I'm happy I'm not gaining. It sure is easy to maintain! No change for me AGAIN this week. I'm deleting my scorecard. I'll never get the sugar totally out of my coffee, and I'm pretty good at exercising my 3 days a week but not so good at wakling on my days off at Curves. Water is no problem. That might be what's helping me maintain. I'm just out of gumption. I was whining to hubby the other day and he was supr-supportive about how well I'm doing. This is the man who sees what and how I eat. He's pretty objective and said he's proud of what I've done so far, that I should take a break and not worry about the next 15 pounds just yet. Let my body and mind have a break. I know what he means, and I'm glad he's proud, but I'm afraid I'll go off the deep end if I'm not careful so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing for now and try not to beat myself up for not being a big ole Loser. Maybe I'll schedule a flouro fill. It's been almost 14 months banded and I've never had a flouro fill. I might choke up the funds and do it. I have pretty good restriction now. I can eat ANYthing slow and well-chewed. With a fill, I'll be restricted. I just wish I could restrict my own self. Maybe a small fill will help with head-hunger? Damn head-hunger. I hate that I need this band. I love that I have it, I hate that I need it. It scares to crap outta me to think of losing it. Can I just cuss some more?! LOL I'm surly this morning. I just looked up the spelling on that word and it means "imperious, bad-tempered, sullenly rude, uncivil" Yep, that'd be about right! I'll put a smile on now, promise!!!!! :biggrin1:

:) I had an apron removal in 1994 in New Jersey they cut off 10lbs ,I did it after I lost 80lbs with Nutra System. The recovery was not to bad I did have drains for a few days. But it was a big difference!!!!! I wish I did the band right after like your plan. Of course I gained my weight back and now I am on the way down again. My plastic surgeon costs with hospital and anestiga was well over $30,000.00 Insurance paid. Good Luck

Thanks for sharing this with us Wandan! I really appreciate it! Do you have pictures? And don't worry about throwing a story in here, we all post random stuff in this thread sometimes. LOL Maybe we can PM each other and talk about the changes you went through! I would love to hear about it.

Ok, so I couldn't stay off. I weighed in today. My highest last week was the day after weigh in which was 362. Today I was 358. So I am going to take it as a 4 pound loss. I am a bit frustrated that my weigh in of 362 stayed, but I am taking it as meaning that I was really dehydrated. I mean, the weight went up like crazy after 2 days of drinking 2 gallons of Water a day.

So my current is 358. down 4 pounds. Its a loss! and I am happy! :clap2:

(((((KATHY))))) I think your man has a good point. You don't want to get burned out, cause that leads to bad decisions. And cuss all ya want. We all need to vent sometimes. :)

C 200 (- 74 total, + 2 this week)

I got a fill of .2cc yesterday so I'm up to 2.7cc now. I hope this does the trick. Since having .3cc taken out 2 weeks ago due to being too restricted, I've been eating like crazy so I put on the weight that I had lost, plus 1 pound. Yesterday, at the doctor's office, I weighed 202. This morning it is 200. I hope to see 198 again very soon.

It's weigh-in day and most of you are using the correct reporting format. Here is it again for those of you who haven't seen it yet:

C 238.5 (-68.5 total, -3 this week)

That's mine for the week.

So far so good for those who have reported. No loss/no gain is good, right? You ladies who aren't losing are surely seeing tremendous changes in the way your clothes are fitting. You are eating right and working out a lot. Soon you step on those scales and see a huge drop! Me? I'm being lazy and I'm flabby. I think I'd rather be like you! :)

Ok so here are my DISGUSTING stats for the week:

C289 (-25 total, + 3 this week :embarassed:)

I don't know how I can possibly be gaining weight. :phanvan I am on mostly liquids and am only getting in between 900 and 1200 calories a day. And, this week I have even been doing an hour of deep Water aerobics every morning! I know you shouldn't expect weight loss until you have your first fill and have restriction, but, I am working hard to keep my calorie intake under control. Anyway, I am a bit disgusted this week , but, I know the scale will move. My husband did give me a hug this week and told me I was getting smaller.

C 213 (-90 lbs total, -6 this week)!!

Working so hard REALLY pays off when you are able to see the change on the scale every week and how the clothes feel. I'm back into my 14's! 214 was previously my lowest weight ever, then I had gained back 20.....so now I'm below that and plan on seeing under 200 soon!

Telly!! 202, wow, great job girl!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
