Cathy. How did it go today?

I'm not Cathy, but I met nurmil today as well~ for me it was good, he seemed very nice and competent, September 4th is right around the corner, thankfully as I am ready to say goodbye to this whack pre-diet hehe

Don't think of the pre-op diet as a bad thing. I went through it for three weeks. 2 planned and the 3rd was due to the surgery being moved back a week the night before the original date. Think of it as training to get your mind, mouth and stomach in shape for the things to come. After a fill you will need to revert back to it for a few days. Also when you hit a plateau on the scale, nothing like a day or two of shakes to get it moving again. I was not a big fan of it during the pre-op phase, but in hindsight it was worth it.

So I missed a call yesterday from Keri. I'm not sure if she's the surgery scheduler or not? I sure hope she is and we can finally get a solid date set for me!

Yes, Cari es nice and easy going. You can e mail her and she responds quickly. I was banded by Dr Nirmul on June 27, 2013 and my husband got banded today by the same dr. Good luck.

She's seems very nice!

I got the dreaded call that my Ins actually denied me so we are jumping through more hoops and I am hoping to get banded in November

Best wishes and good luck

How are you feeling?

I have been feeling great until today. Feel like something stuck in stomach although all I eat is very thin puréed. Thinking I have gas. Just took gasx

Feeling so much better. It is definitely gas. Man who knew it could be so painful. Having it in my shoulder again.

Gasx is my friend now...shoulder pain all over again when I fill but then good the next day.. Keep in touch. I wet to TR and was banded end of May. Down 65 lbs. a million more to go... Lol... Hasn't been too bad though....glad I am down this road..

I have the same problem. Just got first fill on Tuesday and gas in the shoulder. But gasx is great. I had mine in sept and I am down 40 but that is 20 pre and then 20 post surgery.

Will do! You do the same. Thanks!

IH ad Nirmul and he was great. I liked his bedside manner also. He did a great job on me and I was in pain for the first 3 days and then get just keeps getting better. Have now had my first fill - but can't really tell anything has happened. Am still eating just fine. Think I need more of a fill but they don't have me scheduled for another month.
