I could not drink nor eat for 24 hours when I went back to the Dr. however doing this time I the foam coming up and liquid because my salivate would not go down. He took all he put in the day before out. Since then it has been very slow for me. I feel weak. I'm able to drink a little water at a time but this is now day two. I have only had 1/2 cup of soup juice twice. My throat hurt when i drink or try to eat soft food. Tried yogurt this even and after 30 min. only been able to eat a couple spoonful. You are swollen from irritation and should be on liquids. My Dr. usually puts people in this situation on liquids for about a week.

Take it easy and you will go back to normal.

A WEEK! OK at least I know it should take some time.

Yep, liquids until the swelling goes down. Being we are not Drs, you should give them a call and see what they advice. After all, they make the big bucks.

My surgeon's office says we need 2 days clear and 2 days full liquids after a fill/unfill. Try to go on liquids for a day or 2. Good Luck to you! Karen

Liquids definitely. Once aggravated the area around the and will swell and you really have to give it a rest.
