What is your food weakness, (demise)?

  1. I am such a potato chip (Doritos, Salsa Flavor)
  2. Peanut butter - ice cream, candy or jar of this but I am just a big nut for peanut butter

Since surgery I have been really good. I don't go around, eat or even shop in these aisles anymore. :clap2:

Question too, are there any people that are nearing their goal weight but are having problems with the last 10 - 15lbs? If so, do you think that your favorite food plays a part in the resistance?

lMAO!!!! I can just see your facial expressions as you guys type your "demises". I see your eyes, closing.....tongue licking your lips and hands rubbing together as you describe it.

SLAP!

I have been on my liquid diet for two weeks now and I have to say that right now, my dog's rawhide bone is looking pretty good. :dog::heh:

Caffiene and Dove ice cream bars. I'm less than one week post op and I was given one at work today. I couldn't say no. I ate it all...milk chocalate with vanilla ice cream. It went down fine! Probably wasn't too good for me but I think my body REALLY needed something more than clear liquids. I've been getting bad headaches. Probably from my caffeine addiction. I haven't had real food or caffeine since 4-19-06. I hope I start getting more used to this real soon!!!

:faint: It's been 2 weeks tomorrow, post op for me. I haven't had ice cream, caffeine or anything solid for 2 straight weeks. Im not saying I'm doing great or feeling great about some hunger pangs I get while I cook, but Im starting to get used to the idea that Im not eating food.

Dr. Rumbaut gave me nice imagery. He said, "Treat your new belly as if it was a new born baby's belly. Drink only liquids and wean it on food, progressively." Something to that effect. Not verbatim.

Chips & Salsa!!!!! Yum!!!!!

Anything made of chocolate. I am addicted and it is a CONSTANT battle daily to not eat it. I usually end up giving in and having a small bit each day. Alot different to the family block I ate daily pre banding.

I used tolove french fries too, but I am so thankful that my band wont let me eat them now, I have tried a few times and each time i end up PBing...so no more for me.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and Stouffers French Bread Pizza. There is soooooooo much more but that's enough for now. Ya think I have an ISSUE with food or what ?
