Not banded, but looking for someone to talk to

This is the only place I thought what I want would fit. I'm not banded, but I've been thinking, about it a lot. I'm 400 pounds. I've tried diet and exercise only to lose a little then gain it all back. So after becoming frustrated, I started looking into this. I've been doing a lot of research about lap bands. Good, and bad. I would just like this person to tell me what there experience has been like, and what they've been through. I also have some things that are confusing me. I just want to know before I take the plunge.....

We don't bite on this site, unless someone does something they really know they should not do. Then we can be honest and blunt. But we have lots of folks at various stages of the lap band. You might it most helpful to ask each new question in a new topic. That way it is easier for us to see when have asked something new. I have never regretted my decision. It is the best thing I ever did for myself.

You are welcome to stay and learn and post whenever you like! It is actually a good idea to learn as much as possible before the surgery. Best Wishes.

Best thing that I have ever did, It's been 8 months and I am down 60 lbs and feel great. Good luck on your New Life Journey.
