Yep... it happens. Don't fret!

I have been banded for 6 years and have yet to be able to put anything in my band and keep it in for any amount of time! My first fill was 2cc and within a 2 week period they ended up removing it all. I would get horrible shoulder pain that wouldn't go away, and wasn't able to eat anything, could only drink liquids and not enough to stay hydrated. The band works so differently on everyone! As long as your following the rules and your feeling good don't be to concerned about the amount in your band! Sometimes the littlest amount for some is all it takes!

I think just the fact where the band is can not streght out anymore makes the band work. Some of us opening really get large so me need more in the band and as we loss weight we might need more

My shoulder pain was gas. Idk about anyone else .

I've had several times where I had to go back for an unfill. Like someone said, don't stress too much about the number of the fill in your band. Too tight is not good for you! Each time I was too tight, I ended up gaining because I ate a lot of slider foods because they were all I could get down. Don't see this as a setback-see it as an opportunity to keep yourself healthy.

So last night I was having shoulder pain is this mean that my band is too tight ?

No..sometimes its just gas. Mine however, would not go away and would increase if I tried to eat! Then it went away as soon as they removed the fill.

Yep. Some days I can't hardly eat anything... other day I can just about anything. Except bread... I can never manage bread.

Thank u all for the post and glad I am normal Lol

On my 3rd doctor visit, I had a good restriction amount of ccs put in my lapband. I was losing weight & was enjoying it. I got a little greedy on my 4th visit & told my doctor to fill me up some more. My lapband was so tight!! I couldn't keep anything down. Instead I felt so gassy, had heartburn & was vomiting everyday. I was miserable but happy I was losing weight!

I went back to the doctor to have it unfill. He took some out of me, then I noticed it was still too tight. I went back & he took out .25cc out.

My doctor requires all his patients to go get a checkup, so I had to have xrays done. Seems like because of all the vomiting I did on a daily basis, I slipped my lapband. So now I had to have all my cc fluid removed. Hope the lapband can fall back into place normally. If not then I'll have to have surgery.. Urgh.... :-/
