Just think positive. Everything will go great.

Mine doesn't hurt just feel a tiny needle prick its no worse than giving blood or something to me. My doctor does not numb before he does it and has me lay on the bed and if he has trouble feeling the port will have me do a small crunch to make it easier to find.

I have not had a fill yet (1/21) but my Dr said that he puts a pillow under the middle of the back and this make the port come closer to the surface of skin. But assured me that its not painful. Please let us know. Thanks and Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! It went great. There was no meet to be nervous at all. He didn't numb it and it was over in seconds. Monday I will be 6wks post op and down 28lbs. He gave me 1 1/2cc to get started.

I was nervous too. Piece of cake! Serious.

Not as bad as I thought the first fill. It gets do much easier!
