  1. Yup, very normal. Drove me crazy, but normal.
  2. This thread is out of hand - and individuals are missing the point. What a shame.
  3. Yeah, I did. And I almost didn't have the surgery. But my friend went ahead and had hers. Now she is at goal, and I'm not. I had mine nearly 6 mos later. All because I chickened out. And yes, I regret that. And I was nervous the week before. When surgery day came, nurses from out if the wood work came to me, and said they have no regrets. I felt so much better!! I too, have no regrets! Good luck to the new you!!
  4. omelet with imitation crabmeat chicken taco salad Tilapia with green Beans Crabmeat salad (crabmeat with a small amount of mayo) Just some suggestions for you
  5. Thank you mega & sai! Exactly!
  6. Mega, don't apologize for being correct!
  7. Yup, agreed, very well said!
  8. Gotcha. Just be careful with the booze though.
  9. I was nervous too. Piece of cake! Serious.
  10. Avoid alcohol - empty calories. And it hits you harder since you're banded. Alcoholism in banded patients increase. Just saying. Why trade foodaholic for alcoholism?
  11. Agreed! If you want this bad enough, you make sacrifices. If I didn't want it, I could give a zillion reasons why I can't. But I do, and the main reason is for me, my kids and my husband! The three main reasons which drive me. Sure along with it are the benefits of being skinny, and looking better. But that's a bonus. It's about being healthy. I'm not healthy if I'm on blood pressure meds, or cholesterol meds!!! And eating crap! I'm changing my health style. While my family eats pizza, I make fish. While my family has Cookies, I suck a popsicle. And it's paid off. I've lost, and have begun to feel energized!! I have a ways to go, but I'm on the right path getting there.

  13. Also, I'm on a restricted diet. Mostly Protein. Small portions of fruit & veggies. I have a shake a day, and drink lots of Water. I gave up coffee & pop. Which was huge for me. Doc said I could have coffee later, but I've decided I'm not going to. Caffeine was difficult for me to give up and if I go back, I'd prob would drink pop, which we can't. Besides its not reall good for you. It's not a piece of cake, but if you follow these steps, you should see a difference.
  14. Don't eat the crap foods. This is a tool. You still need to make healthy choices. Eat what you were told, drink lots of water.
