Well I have never had surgery before but am wondering if it's normal for my incisions to b so itchy. I know as they are healing they itch but man, they really really itch. Now they are a little swollen around the outside. Should I worry??

I actually bought some spray hydrocortisone (from Walgreens) and sprayed it on my belly because it itched so much. As long as nothing gross is coming out of it....

When I went to my doctor after NY surgery and told him my stomach itches so bad! He said take off the glue...so you might want to try that since I took mine off it helped dramatically

itchy means healing...perfectly normal...

Thanks y'all. I was just worried cause around the incisions is red n swollen. This morning my whole stomach was itching n now there's a rash...ewww. sorry for being so graphic but I'm a little nervous. Maybe cause I had some bacon yesterday or idk. Has anyone had any new allergic reactions.

Yup, very normal. Drove me crazy, but normal.
