With what Bmi

My BMI at my first appt was 41.5. At the hospital day of surgery it was 39.9.

I'm freaking out too about my approval I'm only 4'9and 183 pounds my bmi is 39 and I've been working on my diet I'm just wondering if I lose weight and my bmi slightly goes down will I be denied :/

My Dr. told me he only takes into account the BMI on the first visit. That is what he submits to Tricare. Was your BMI at least 40 on the 1st visit?

No it wasn't, my first visit was 39.60 that's why I'm worried I do have sleep apnea and high cholesterol ,high liver enzymes but nothing more serious than that ..

Sleep apnea is a serious condition! Maybe when your Dr. submitted the paper work he rounded the # up to 40 I am sending you lots of luck. Keep me informed.
