Just spent the last few hours with my soon at the pediatrician in basically a Petri dish of germs. He has been diagnosed with the flu. Please pray that I either get it quickly or not at all. I do not want to reschedule this surgery. Not to mention I am mentally ready for this too!

I agree...it would be up to your surgeon...if it were me with the flu, as much as I'm excited about the lapband, I'm not sure I would choose to get it while Ihave the flu...to me it sounds like a recipe for disaster. Fortunately you don't have it as yet...and I hope you do not get it at all.
