Are There Complications Due To Tummy Tuck Prior To Lap Band?

I had breast cancer/DIEP reconstruction done that included a tummy tuck. I am about 70 lbs overweight now and am considering lap band. Does anyone know if there are any issues with banding since my skin and stomach are so tight in that area?

I have had a tummy tuck also, my surgeon said there will be no problem whatsoever. :)

I have a tight tummy also (now), but i know i will lose some of that taughtness after losing the 70lbs i need to lose. I worry about the port site. I wonder if it will be a thing to 'deal' with? When we all get skinny we are gonna wanna wear tight jeans right? Anyone had an issue with pants and port site?

I had my tummy tuck 83 pounds ago, and I have had no issues at all. The good news is that the tummy tick keeps your midriff looking good as you lose the weight.

Jealous!!!!My tummy is flabby wish it was taut!
