I was expecting a fill but he said you have a leak it rarely happens so you need surgery again we will call you. Has this happened to anyone I'm so disappointed

How many fills have you had. How did they verify you had a leak?

I'm so sorry if you have to have another surgery....I suffered a slip 6 months in and had to have the band repositioned...not nice. Faster recovery though

How did they know, had you lost all your fluid ?who pays ? dose the insurance have to approve that?

I was told that a year ago. I went back to have it checked again and they put in 2 cc and it held. It is time for another fill now and I have moved so I am looking forward to seeing what the new doc says.

Get a second opinion before another surgery or just try having it filled again. Best wishes !
