I'm Hurting Any Ideas Of What It Could Be?

I had hernia and lap band surgery on November 8th. I have been hurting off and on, on my left lower side of my stomach. Does anyone have any ideas why? Is this normal? Is there anything I can do? Sometimes the pain is very sharp, but it doesn't really hurt if I am still. I have my first visit with my surgeon since my surgery tomorrow, but I would like to get some sleep tonight, I have been using a heating pad but it doesn't work. Please offer any suggestions if you can. Thanks

Not sure if anyone could or should answer this question. You are better off checking with your surgeon.

I agree with Cheryl! Call the doctor.
