To Fsa Or Not To Fsa

I am wanting to get banded but wanted to have a general idea of what to withhold for my fda account just in case after surgery. How much did you withhold if you don't mind me asking.

fda ???

I assume you are talking about a flexible spending account. If so, the amount depends on what your insurance pays on fills and follow visits. Ask you doc's office how often they see patients in the first year and what your insurance typically pays. For me, my copay is $30 a visit and I expect to go in every 4 - 6 weeks the first year. Howver, all docs are not the same.

FYI the FSA is use or loose. However you can use the card at pharmacies for certain supplies so you can use it up that way. Those funds can be used to buy eye glasses as well if you have money left at the end of the year.
