Try sitting on the commode with ur feet on a stool, or a stack of phone books, whatever gets u into a squat. Sit for a bit u might start to let some go. Also try a little milk, always makes me go...

Drink some apple juice that helps to...you could use a out right ex lax if you need to.. softeners dont make you go they are for making it more easy to go. I knwo that sounds odd but there is a differance,

I had that happen early on and was MISERABLE as well. Thankfully after that initial time, it hasn't been like that. You need to be sure you are drinking lots of liquids and I would recommend the prune juice too. I upped my liquids and that helped so it didn't happen again. Good luck.

You're not being gross, I think this is a problem the majority of us experience or have experienced.

I add benefibre to my Water every morning and that's helped. Some use Metamucil but you need to be careful with that one as it can go gluggy and clog your band. Prune juice is good and prunes if you're on solids.

Well, if you are only doing a liquid diet...you don't have much bulk in there anyway...I know how you are feeling. Your body is probably trying to get with the NEW program of eating...and it is liquid...so there isn't any big substance in there...your body may be doing like mine and going into what I call a starvation mode...where it is using and conserving everything I drank during my liquid time. I have JUST now been able to go this morning...after two weeks...today of post-op. I am now eating more solid foods, but still needed M.O.M. to help. My body has had a huge shock! I have finally gone....and have lost TWO pounds from getting rid of all that .....Well....you know! Heee! Do do the prunes and apple juice...and try M.O.M. again...I hope this helps.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
