Pain In Lower Abdomen Post Surgery

I was banded on 10-10-12 and although I am healing great I have noticed a terrible pain in the lower left side of my abdomen. It feels like a pulled muscle and only hurts when I am up moving around. I see my surgeon Thursday for my post op appointment but just wanted to see if anyone else had this. Thanks!

I'm having it as well. My other banded friends seem to think that it's gas, but when I think gas I think bubbles and bloating, discomfort - not actual pain. TMI, but I haven't had a BM since Thursday night (surgery was on Friday morning) and I'm thinking that maybe that could be it. I've taken a stool softener laxative, but nothing. I'm not too concerned since my diet is all liquid.

I'm positive that mine is not gas. It's just weird because it just started today. Hopefully I just pulled something and it will feel better soon :/

My surgery was Oct 11th. I have been having the same pain for two days now. Talked to the crnp yesterday and she said it was normal. Told me to apply heat but not to hot. Keep me posted on what they say at your visit.
